Goalkeeper Training

BFC has elected to commence goalkeeper training. We understand that coaches do not have the time to specifically coach goalkeepers during their normal team training times. We request that only players wanting to play as a goalkeeper attend. We understand that with the junior teams (8 - 11s) there is a general rule allowing all players to take a turn in goals, even so, our preference to have only those players who have a willingness to play there attend.

We require all players attending to have an appropriate size ball. Coaches, if you have a number of players from your team attending then it would be a good idea to send your team balls with them. The club will have a very limited supply of spare balls. Gloves are not necessary for the juniors, but recommended for the youth players.

At this stage training will be conducted on a fortnightly basis.

Can you please advise if your child will be attending goalkeeper training, giving the child's name and what team they are playing in. All correspondence is to be directed to Director of Coaching, Anthony Blancato on 0412544994 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Goalkeeper training will commence Monday 1st May (Please check the club website and facebook to confirm the fields are open and that there are no changes).
